I love this place! I’ve been going there for about 5 years now and everyone is very friendly, kind and welcoming! The prices are fair for a full set with designs, and a fill with designs are also fair! Even when I don’t know what to get on my nails my girl Tara has me covered! I have gotten my nails done by multiple people there and they are all great! They take their time with the designs and the acrylic process and fix anything if I don’t think they look right! Also I appreciate how if something happenes within 5 days of getting my nails done I can go back and get them fixed for free! I 10/10 recommend! I saw Rory’s review and i definitely disagree!

TARA IS AMAZING!! She was the first person to ever ask me what design I would like in all my years of getting my nails done. She was kind and so was everyone else. Prices for what I got seemed reasonable too! I found my place!!

Absolute loved my service today! It was my first time visiting the salon and the staff was super friendly and nice. I was seated right away given the rush on Sundays. The attention to detail is incredible, I’ve been to other places in valpo for similar manicures and this place has stuck out to me. The service was amazing! The person working on my nails was super friendly and did an amazing job on my nails. Needless to say I’ll definitely be back! ❤️😊

I absolutely adore Chic Nails! I've been going to them for months now and I have never been happier with my nails. Before settling here me and my mother had tried 3 other salons, but none even compare to the skill of Chic's nail techs. I have always wanted complicated designs, and for a while I couldn't get them due to my sport- however now that I have the freedom I have gone all out more than once. Nothing seems to be a challenge for them as they always execute the designs flawlessly. And all of the designs I've gotten have been hand painted too- not a stencil/sticker in sight- pure talent! They even have good skills in the shaping and overall look of the nail itself before polish. I always used to feel like my nails never quite looked the shape I wanted, or they were too thick/thin. I have never once had that problem here. The prices are actually pretty good too for the work you are receiving. I've had friends tell me that my nails are “too expensive” or “out of their price range” and that's honestly okay, everyone is different- however for the skill and effort the nail techs put into the service, and how amazing it looks, I think the price is more than fair. This salon and its owner have definitely made me feel at home. 💗 I'm always recommending them to my friends and sometimes even strangers! (Some of the photos are a little messy due to my forgetting to take a photo after getting them done, so they've got some growth)

This is in response Paola Sojo’s review since I can’t comment and it is literally lies. I was at the salon today, getting my nails done at the same time she was there. When I walked in, she was getting her pedicure and then moved on to her manicure. I didn’t hear her say a word. She then sat down to do her manicure and clearly seemed unhappy of the technique being used but she never once asked them to do anything any differently she just continued to tell them what she felt they were doing wrong. The owner tried to explain the process and insure her that they would not be harming her nails. She then allowed the nail technician to continue the manicure, soaking her nails and trimming her cuticles, but when it came to the point of massage with oil she refused, stopping the process altogether and then told her she just wanted to go . The owner of the salon tried to make her happy but she refused and said she just wanted to get out of there and was willing to pay for what she received. Another person got up to try to help the situation, but she seemed as though she didn’t want the situation to be helped. Then, when it came time to pay, she wanted to argue and say that she was not pleased with the way things looked so the owner again offered to try to fix things and make her happy and she refused. I have been going to the salon Since the location itself opened and following the family that owns it for the last eight years. I trust them. I trust their work. They are a clean environment and they do an excellent job. Frankly, it’s a shame that they have to deal with ugly minded, nasty people at times like this that have clearly had a bad day, and insist on taking it out on them. I’m going to upload pictures of my fabulous manicure and will continue to do so every time I see this kind of stuff because it’s not fair small businesses have to deal with this kind of slandering.
